The Heartsaver Paediatric First Aid with CPR and AED is a course designed by the American Heart Association and is aimed at equipping people with basic First Aid and CPR knowledge and skill, so that they are able to react appropriately in a crisis requiring immediate medical intervention.
In a 6 hour session, course participants are taught how to recognise and manage a variety of emergencies, including:
- CPR for children and infants
- How to use and AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
- Medical emergencies
- Injury Emergencies
- Environmental emergencies
A Heartsaver Paediatric First Aid with CPR and AED Student Workbook and keyring pouch with barrier device and gloves are included in the course fee.

Certification: An American Heart Association Heartsaver Paediatric First Aid with CPR and AED card, valid for 2 years, is issued upon course completion.
